GARLON NEW (500 ml) – Selective Systemic Herbicide & Arboricide

€90,00 EUR

Garlon New is a professional-grade, broad-spectrum systemic herbicide and arboricide. Formulated as a micro-emulsion, it is specifically designed for the control of broadleaf weeds (dicots), unwanted woody plants, and the suppression of stump regrowth. In France, Garlon New is a reference standard for "débroussaillage" (brush clearing), widely used to maintain pastures and lawns by targeting stubborn species like brambles, nettles, and woody shrubs without affecting established grasses.

Technical Composition / Composition Technique

  • Active Substances: Fluroxypyr (20 g/L) + Triclopyr (60 g/L).
  • Chemical Family: Pyridines.
  • Formulation: Micro-emulsion (ME).
  • Mode of Action: Systemic. Rapidly penetrates through leaves, stems, and bark. It translocates to the roots and growth points (apex), with visible effects within hours of application.

Usage & Dosage Recommendations

  • Prairies & Pastures: 2–3% concentration (20–30 ml per 1 L of water) for broadleaf weeds and unwanted woody plants. Requires a 14-day re-entry period. Localized application recommended.
  • Lawns & Turf: 2–3% concentration (20–30 ml per 1 L of water) for broadleaf weeds and woody plants. Requires a 14-day re-entry period. Localized application recommended.
  • Arable Land: 2–3% concentration (20–30 ml per 1 L of water) for broadleaf weeds and woody plants. Localized application. (Observe specific crop cycles).
  • Stump Treatment: 30% concentration (300 ml per 0.7 L of water) to suppress stump regrowth. Application should be performed using a brush or paintbrush directly on fresh cuts.

Professional Application Notes

  • Localized Treatment: Apply until the foliage is uniformly wet, but stop before runoff occurs to ensure maximum absorption.
  • Environmental Caution: Do not apply when temperatures exceed 23°C to prevent damage to sensitive neighboring crops (such as vineyards or hops). Ensure the product does not drift into non-target areas or newly sown plots.
  • Equipment Care: Thoroughly rinse application equipment after use to prevent cross-contamination of future crops.
